PROJECT DARAJA SCHOLARSHIP
We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Project Daraja, an incredible organization whose mission is to bridge the gap between underserved, marginalized individuals and access to essential holistic health and wellness care. Together, we’re working to empower communities with the tools to prioritize physical and mental well-being, fostering a supportive environment that improves everyday quality of life. This collaboration reflects our shared vision of creating meaningful, lasting impact through wellness and empowerment.
From Project Dajara: “This initiative aims to provide essential holistic health and wellness services to the underserved and marginalized. And any individuals in need of the grace of our offerings. Focusing on communities of color and beyond. We are driven by the desire and necessity to ensure that the smallest and lowest earning communities of our county are afforded an opportunity to experience the benefits of specialized care and wellness programs that are often inaccessible.”
Through this collaboration, Project Daraja is providing scholarships for girls and young women in Santa Cruz County to participate in one of the following programs:
One-Month Women's Self-Defense Classes
Fridays @ 5PM
Three-Month Youth Kickboxing Classes
Mondays and Wednesdays @ 5pm
Three-Month Kids Jiu Jitsu Classes
Mondays through Thursdays @ 5pm (ages 6-14)
Ages 16+ Tuesdays and Thursdays @ 5PM and MWF @ 6PM.
Eligibility:
The Project Daraja Scholarship is available for girls and young women between the ages of 6 and 18 years old.
Individuals must be Santa Cruz County residents.
Application Process
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and applicants are informed monthly about the status of their applicants. Please submit the application below to be considered.
